ABOUT OCTOBUBBLE THE BABY OCTOPUS

Octobubble is the easy-to-make offspring of a larger creature from Projectarian’s menagerie, named Apollo the Octopus. This cute, bubble-blowing baby octopus is still learning how to camouflage, so he’s awkwardly covered in random freckles but dad keeps him safe, being a magical octopus who lives for 1,000 years himself. Octobubble is named after his favourite pastime of blowing bubbles from the ocean floor and watching them expand into giant balloons of air as they float up to the surface.

ABOUT THE PATTERN

A quick and easy, almost no-sew project that can be completed in one day.

The tentacles are joined by crocheting, so the only sewing in this project is to attach his eyes and sew a simple V for his mouth.

Although hook and yarn information is supplied, you can use any combination that you’re comfortable with for this project.

The pattern includes notes for using different types of yarn to make a furry or plain model.

YARN WEIGHT: The pattern is designed using double knit yarn, which is the equivalent to yarn weight 3, light worsted, 8 ply or 11 wpi. You can use any weight of yarn that you prefer for this project, and pair it with any hook you prefer. (Includes notes for using weight 5 furry yarn)
